There are different types of situations where we’re going to be doing light housekeeping work. When we cook meals, for example, we won’t just leave the kitchen all dirty. Once we’re done, we’re going to clean everything up and make sure that we leave the area like we found it. The bathroom is another area that we typically clean. There are actually two main reasons why we provide this particular service. We don’t want bathroom floors to be slippery at all. That’s something that we strive to be very vigilant about. We know that a slippery floor can lead to plenty of unwanted circumstances.
Prepping Bathrooms for Showers & Bathing
This is something that we can’t afford to not do especially if the area was used recently beforehand. We’re not going to be bringing a person in for a shower when we don’t know if we’re going to encounter wet floors. It can literally be one of those fatal mistakes in our line of work that we’re going to try to avoid at all costs. To do this, we, of course, have to be able to provide some light housekeeping work. A lot of times, that’s why we include this in other services that we provide.
Bathroom Cleaning & Organization
Once we’re done with the shower or bathing, we’ll get the bathroom back in decent shape. A lot of times, with some of the bathing situations, water can splash all over the place. Since we know that we’re actually going to be drying the floors before we are able to remove the person we’re helping from the shower. Is there a unique way that you like these areas to be cleaned? If that’s something that’s concerning to you, be sure to bring it up before you book any of our services. We want to make sure that we’re following the house rules at all times.

Many times we’ll be doing emergency laundry work. That’s why we truly feel that it’s ideal that our staff be granted access to the laundry room area. In the care of people who are going through certain difficulties stained sheets and things of that nature can be a common occurrence. What we want to be able to do is get everything cleaned as soon as possible. That’s not only going to make the house look better, it can also be much more comfortable for the person that we’re helping care for.
Kitchen Cleaning & Organization
We’ve mentioned in other parts of the site that this is something that we can help with. When we’re the ones for example prepping most of the meals you can rest assured that we’ll have the area regularly clean. It really depends though on the family dynamic that we walk into. It’s different when our staff is living with a couple that we’re taking care of than it would be if there were more members of the family in the home. These are all services that we can adjust to your specific needs.
