We want to go through what we truly provide through our personal care services here. There are different personal assistance needs that we know elderly people may require. Sometimes it can be hard for family members even to give their loved ones a ride to the hospital when they need to. If you want to be extra careful, we can provide transfer services to get your loved ones where they need to. At the base level, though, our personal care service revolves around just being with the person.
Personal Care Service Throughout the Day
Our personal care service doesn’t have to be a live-in situation. Sometimes, it’s just one of our staff members spending the day with an elderly person. While we’re there, we’re going to be able to care for some of the different needs that the person may have. At the same time, you can be sure that our staff member isn’t just someone who’s there to keep your loved one company. They are fully trained professionals that can help elderly people move around with ease. If they need to be showered, for example, throughout the day, that’s something that can be scheduled as well.
When This Service Starts to Make Sense
This is one of the toughest questions that people may have to ask themselves or even their family members who will be on the receiving end of this service. What we always say is that you or your family doesn’t need to be in a poor physical state primarily for this service to make sense. At times it could just be a good idea to have someone to keep them company and potentially help them through their daily lives. That’s the case even if they still feel very able to do plenty of things on their own.
Companionship
Part of our personal care service is companionship. We mentioned this recently; at times, it’s just good to have someone looking out for you. For us as a company, it’s very important that our staff are kind, but also can engage in different types of conversations and things of that nature. It’s really difficult for anybody to have to be around a person that they dislike. What we can promise from our end is that our staff is going to make the effort to provide that sense of companionship. We feel it’s one of the most important elements of the services that we provide—this ability to build a bond with the people that we’re serving.

What else would you like to include in our personal care service? We’ve mentioned so far that we could also add personal hygiene help. At the same time, our crew will be able to help you with light cleaning services. That’s especially going to be the case if we’re cooking on the property or even if we shower the person that we’re helping.
